This is a good sign. It means that we have won the fact-based argument regarding the point at which life begins. Pro-aborts must now resort to half-truths and patently absurd logic to refute what is simple fact to biologists and geneticists.
The definition of life is not controversial. Life requires self-directed development and growth. Our good doctor (intentionally?) obfuscates this determining factor when he states: The notion that [an individual human life (person)] occurs at conception is based on the presence of unique DNA in a living cell. It is not merely the presence of unique DNA in a living cell that indicates the presence of life. The unique DNA merely demonstrates that the extant life is distinct from the mother (another point the pro-aborts intentionally obfuscate). It is the presence of self-directed development and growth that indicates the presence of life. Our good doctor knows it, and must resort to logical fallacy in order to argue his position. That's why, ultimately, we've already won. |
