A little bit of advice... not sure if it'll fit your style or not.
Cross-post whenever possible, with back-links.
If you're writing something and want to go two directions, open another page and take off in the other direction. You'll be able to be more comprehensive without going on as long if various ideas are split. (I can't follow this myself, but it's a good idea.)
Don't know how you format your blogging, but you might consider something like Microsoft's free "Live Writer" blogging software-- it makes it easier to post to multiple places.
