I have a suggestion for what I'd like to hear you talk about: reproducing as the other sex using genetically modified stem ell derived gametes. It's not a right, and not a good idea to allow it, but it is legal and people are working on it and people demand to be allowed to do it. I think it needs to be prohibited ASAP because kids are getting confused about their futures.
Good idea. The next installment is about modifying eggs to "cure" mitochondrial disease which is a related topic: modifying eggs or sperm before fertilization. We discuss legislation that would prevent such genetic manipulations that would not just affect the child produced but would naturally extend beyond that child who cannot help but pass those modifications on to his or her children and grandchildren.
