This is not a world first discovery. It has been known for years that breast milk contains totipotent stem cells. I wrote about it and spoke about it in 2001. There are Mammary Gland Stem Cell Conferences. There are some 2000 human milk component patents at the US Patent Office. The properties of human milk are amazing and are being monopolized by the infant formula and pharmaceutical, food, and supplement industries. Dr. Mark Cregan has gotten the publicity but he is not the first researcher to understand the significance of human milk as stem cell tissue. Valerie W. McClain, IBCLC
