Unfortunately I can see a demand for this "service" from those who are presently users of surrogate mothers or egg donors--hoping to finally achieve a child they can think of as genetically "theirs."
This is just the beginning. Soon we will be able to package women's DNA into sperm. Then, Heather REALLY WILL have two mommies.
This is the millenium in which we will learn to design our own offspring, gene by gene, from the bottom up. Anyone who objects to this will be ... ignored.
And yet, here you are, busying yourself with not ignoring us.
I'm sure the women who wish to try this will be warned that there are possibly side-effects that appear later in life for their children. I don't see any reason not to start the process now. If the women know what they are risking, and they still want to go through with it, it is their choice. At least this way, their children will possibly have a disease rather than definitely have a disease.
I am all for this three-progenitor system. Imagine all the child-support money a happily married couple could garner from the other woman! It's a civil-law goldmine! Who cares that we are playing God? And who cares about all the unintended consequences? And, heck, this brings a whole new meaning to "Heather Has Two Mommies." What could go wrong?
